16 - The Vela Incident
One of the mysteries of the Cold War is the Vela Incident. In 1979, a US reconnaissance satellite picked up what looked like a nuclear explosion in the Indian Ocean. Although this was never confirmed, it was believed to be a joint Israeli/South African weapon test. The satellite - part of a series designed to detect nuclear explosion called Vela Hotel - detected a “double flash,” a characteristic of nuclear detonations. Declassified assessments from the time can be found at the George Washington University National Security Archive. Both countries have (or, in the case of South Africa, had) covert nuclear weapons programs. The Apartheid government also had a history of good relations with Israel. The consensus story made sense and is the view still held by many in the intelligence and defense communities.
This view is wrong.
I was emailed a link to Dropbox folder labeled Vela. Inside were four documents that reveal the truth behind the Vela Incident. They also give insight into how thaumaturgy and the awareness of the existence of other dimensions plays into geopolitics.
The first document is the Shadow Garden assessment of the event in the immediate aftermath. It provides a general idea of what happened - the creation of an interdimensional gate - and the destination of this gate, a new dimension named RN-4533. At this point, there is only speculation about who created the gate. One thing to note: the Shadow Garden recommends that the Israeli/South African nuke story be perpetuated to conceal the true nature of the event.
Document two is the only one with a specific date, December 22, 1984. This is clearly some time after the previous report, as the other dimension now has a codename Deadbolt Citadel. There are a few items that require clarification. T-Rating is certainly related to thaumaturgy, although what the rating means is unknown. The multiple instances of ‘K’ followed by a number is probably related to the Kardashev Scale. This rating system was created Russian astrophysicist Nikolai Kardashev and measures a civilization's level of technological advancement, based on the amount of energy it uses. A K1 civilization refers to a species that uses all the energy of a single planet, while a K2 uses all the energy available from a single star. Presumably, either could have the capacity for interstellar travel. Finally, ‘Kirlian planetary readings’ refers to Kirlian photography, a method of taking images that shows electrical coronal discharges. How this could be used gathering information about a planet is not clear.
The next two documents deal with the Masada Option, a plan by the government of Israel to move part of their country to Deadbolt Citadel through a dimensional gate. They also reference a similar plan that exists within the United States (the ‘CIBOLA PROTOCOL’). That such a plan could have catastrophic consequences (as detailed in document three) does not seem to concern the Israeli government, although document four implies they are not aware of this possibility. How many other governments are involved in projects like this, using only a partial understanding of the forces they are trying to manipulate?
Document four is a memo from the Minster of Defense, Shaul Mofaz, who held that post from 2002 until 2006. There is mention of both a Goleman Plan and a Project Gehenna, although there is no direct indication of what these are. The latter appears to be a plan to preposition material and personnel in Deadbolt Citadel, to prepare for an eventual transportation of Israel. This memo also gives an indication that the Israelis do not know about the possibility for our reality to be destroyed by their action, since Mofaz mentions sending Palestinians back.
Could projects like Cibola and Masada be the ultimate insurance policy against the emergence of entities from Deadbolt Manifest? Would the destruction of our reality - and all the life that exists within it - be an acceptable cost to save part of the human race? And, in our efforts to do so, could we accidentally trigger an apocalypse?
